Figure Skating ... if only we could

Sports, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, exercise, biking, scooters...you get the idea.

Figure Skating ... if only we could

Post by oneh2obabe »

If you never leave the wall when ice skating seeing truly talented ice skaters is awesome. Jason Brown is one incredibly talented figure skater. Jason is a National Champion and Olympic medalist and one of his routines made him a viral sensation.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Some of the moves they make are incredible, especially when you consider they are on slippery ice wearing sharp skates.

I would try it but nobody would want to see me in those tight pants.

If only we could.

Remember this?

Now we can.

C'mon, I still got my Graf Edmonton Specials. And I've mastered the women's part of the forward inside death spiral (Stephanie made me do it) [icon_lol2.gif]

The first time I attended a championship figure skating event live, I was astounded at the speed, the sound of the blades on the ice, etc. Nothing like watching on TV.

I was in adult figure skating from 1995 up until a couple of years ago. I started on a dare from my wife after she got tired of me laughing at the sport. I went through the CanSkate program and ended up teaching.

I compare making a perfect jump to making a perfect drive in golf.

Also, we've seen Canada by volunteering and attending Skate Canada International every year for just as long.

Try one.

Vancouver hosted Skate Canada in 2021 and will host it again in 2023.

Kelowna hosted Skate Canada international in 2014 and 2019.

This is my favorite Fee Dance from 2019.

Fear and Gibson GBR.

BTW They skate for Great Britain but Lila is from Ferine.

Man they rocked Prospera Place.

I'm looking forward to seeing two ladies skating teams.

Two dudes? Not so much [icon_lol2.gif]

Yes, I much prefer two-man luge or professional wrestling for its tricks. [icon_lol2.gif]
