Post by oneh2obabe »

Two thumbs up to Chris ... he made his dream come true.

A man has just become the first person with Down syndrome to finish an Ironman course, according to event organizers.

On Sunday, November 8, Chris Nikic, a 21-year-old athlete from Maitland, Florida completed the competition with a time of 16 hours and 46 minutes, per the BBC.

The ironman is made up of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a marathon, which is about 26.2 miles.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
