So sad, I enjoyed his comedy - yes, especially playing Burt Reynolds on SNL, so funny. RIP

Fawning over celebrities and mourning their deaths like they're family has always been cringy in my opinion. That said, this one hurts. He was the last remaining comedian who honored his craft through his willingness to slaughter sacred cows and never bend the knee. He never sold out. Never pandered to a narrative. It feels like he was the last breath of true comedy and something larger died with him. I was fortunate enough to see his show when he came to Kelowna several years ago and it was a real treat, the time flew by way too quickly.

I find it hard to believe that anybody hasn't seen the moth joke he did years ago but if not, it's by far my favorite moment in late night talk show comedy.

I have read many of the tributes out there about Norm Macdonald from his peers.........I thought this one from Jay Mohr was quite accurate......."In a business filled with rock and rollers, Norm Macdonald was playing jazz."

Jane Powell Dies: Hollywood Golden Age Actress was 92.
Jane Powell, who made her screen debut with W.C. Fields, danced with Fred Astaire in Royal Wedding, was one of seven brides for seven brothers in the classic 1954 film musical, sang “Buttons and Bows” at President Harry S. Truman’s Inaugural Ball and was a bridesmaid at the first of Elizabeth Taylor’s weddings, died of natural causes today at her home in Wilton, Connecticut. She was 92.

Susan Granger, a friend of the actress and spokesperson for her family, told Deadline that Powell died peacefully at the house she shared for many years with her husband, the actor and publicist Dick Moore, who died in 2015.

Willie Garson, an actor best known for playing Stanford Blatch on “Sex and the City” and Mozzie on “White Collar,” has died. He was 57.

A family member of Garson’s confirmed his death to Variety. The cause was not immediately disclosed.

In HBO’s wildly popular “Sex and the City” series, Garson portrayed talent agent Stanford, the witty and stylish best male friend of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). Garson reprised the role in the franchise’s films, “Sex and the City” and “Sex and the City 2,” and had recently been filming HBO Max’s upcoming revival series, “And Just Like That.”
