Removal of my chicken lasagne from the oven, pan slippage in the mitts.
Full 180 to the floor, perfect landing, zero splatter...….

Best lasagna I've ever had.

If you were 2 inches taller it would have been a 270 to the floor.

Doh, math not my strong suit, 360 to the floor... It landed pan side down,
not upside down.

By extrapolation, if you were 2 inches shorter and it flipped 90, would still taste good?

White Castle sliders, found a 6 pack at Walmart this evening. First time I've seen 'em in Canada. Yum, yum, yum

Better half bought a nice steak. Its on the BBQ ( covered deck) as I type... shrooms are frying away, and some scalloped spuds.
Merlot cab blend...

Fat and juicy Salt Spring Island mussels with Pesto Pasta. West coast mussels are the only ones to buy!

^^^That's dinner tomorrow night. Rutabaga, parsnips and turnip will be added along with potatoes, onion, cabbage, celery and corn.

Tonight was grilled Oktoberfest sausage, potato wedges, tossed salad and sliced cukes.

ETA - forgot carrots in the stew.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Well I made my wife Baked wild salmon/Neptune with real Caesar Salad and home made dressing minus those nasty little fishy things [icon_lol2.gif]. Also, side of oven toasted garlic toast. For our 17 year old sports dude, well he got Italian sausage tortellini smothered in unsalted butter and parmesan cheese served with Caesar Salad and garlic toast. Both seemed happy and full and content.

Sounds like a dinner worth inviting ourselves to. But, it's not a real Caesar Salad if you leave out those nasty little fishy things.
Gotta have anchovies.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Pork roast in the crock pot with Canada Dry and Hot Banana Pepper brine.
Add potatoes, then mixed veggies.

Built a gravy out of the juices.

Done.
