Anyone trying to start the year changing any eating habits? Any new ideas, recipes to share? Still into making soup and surprised myself by making for the first time a delicious butternut curried soup. My pots of soup don't go very far at my house...one dinner for 3 and then a couple more bowls for lunch, and that's it.

During COVID I got Chinese takeout twice then bought a deep fryer and a wok and learned how to make over 20 dishes. So easy and cheap to make. Homemade Chinese BBQ Pork is so good!

For the second time this week I have made Bananas Foster for dessert. How did I not do this before now? It's so delicious and easy...and I wake up thinking about it..lol.

I was having C Lovers Fish and Chips withdrawal so we drove to Westbank to get our fix last night.

They did not disappoint.

We sure hope they find a new location in Kelowna soon. Apparently they are in "talks" but nothing signed yet.

On another note it is taking Olympia way too long to re-open! Having Lasagna withdrawals too.

I was at the Rutland Save-On the other day, the back of the building is quite brightly coloured.
I ended up making my own chicken souvlaki last week - would be nice to have them up and running again.
