Vernon: Best Chinese buffet?

Postby Queen K » Nov 4th, 2018, 7:36 pm

We are headed to Vernon soon and would like to know where the best Chinese food buffet is there.

There will be five adults, all hungry!

So which place has the nicest buffet?

Yes, I can "google" but I'd like local recommendations, thanks. :D

Da Poke Bowl, 12 pm!!!

February 17th, Sunday afternoon.
Chinese Buffet
Not Kiki, as it's closed Sundays til 4 pm.

Cancelled due to weather concerns, real and imagined.
If the Okanagan really does get all that new snow on the weekend, who'd want to drive to Vernon?

Damn.
Damn it!

Okay, March sometime.

Happy Valentine's Day. :-X

I quite like Royal Garden up by the Casino. Asian Avenue (formerly Yat Sen) by Denny's is pretty good as well.

The best Chinese I have eaten here was at the Golden Crown, but it isn't a buffet. However, it is within one block of the art show at Vertigo Gallery.

impo the best Chinese food in Vernon has been gone for many decades, Lotus Gardens it was just short walk away from the former NOCA plant. Probably only familiar building in the area is the BC Tel/Telus building.

Will have to bring my crusty dictionary.

That's the thing with Chinese food, one person best choice could be anothers unpleasant experience.
