What's for Dinner?

Post by Bsuds »

I picked up a Pork Sirloin with the bones tied on it at Lakeview Market. Wasn't sure exactly how to cook it so I sprinkled our secret recipe meat spice all around and wrapped it in foil. Baked at 325 till the temp probe hit 170+.

It came out really moist and tender. Mmmmmm

Pork schnitzel, salad, pickled cukes/onions

We have dinner once a month with an old friend of my Wife. He is in his late 80's and lives alone.
He loves coming for dinner that our son (the Sous Chef) cooks for him.

Last night we had Butter Chicken with rice (cooked in the instant pot) and toasted garlic naan bread.

Mmmmmm

Butter Chicken...Yum!
What are your thoughts on the InstaPot Bsuds?
I thought it was a bit of a craze/fad. But I'm starting to think maybe I should get one.

Oh...and dinner:
Turkey burgers (no bun) with Tzatziki and Greek salad.
Not as exciting as Butter Chicken...but not bad either.

Sorry just saw this. Instant pot is very useful and I could probably use it more. Right now I am into the Sous Vide which is cool, but do stuff like Rice in the "Pot". It makes great rice!

Had bacon that needed cooking, had chicken that needed cooking,
wrapped one around the other.
Baked. Served over brown rice, drizzle of salsa, and a good sprinkle of Parmesan.

Success. :smt045

Only if you wrapped the bacon around the chicken.....vice versa would be pretty gross.
