Today is the day.
Quickly tying on my b/w striped apron, I tugged in vain at the leaves. Still firmly attached as scandal to SNC.
It's been 7 days that the object of my attention, the pineapple, has been sitting on countertop, so surely it must be ripe? Cut the top off and yes, juicy contents, good sweet smell emanating. Tried tugging away at segments...hopeless, so cut it up, ate some (delicious) and decided that the segmenting trick probably only works when pineapple has ripened on its base plant. A fail for this utube idea.
Not that there is any problem here with over ripe bananas, it may be just a good party trick to revive those darkening skins using ice and hairdryer.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.
