No idea if there are more. I do like how KFC jettisoned the taco bell. There was about 10 percent of the people ordering tacos. The rest bought chicken. I would have done the same. Why pay 2 franchise fees if your only selling for one franchise. Love me some KFC

This is saddening news for the Westside as there is nothing better than a good taco to make life more spiritual

Westside is already getting really congested with fast food outlets, when you consider that Popeye's Chicken is coming soon to West Kelowna and there are a lot of private restaurants, as well. The Taco Bell brand was a good eat, though. The Taco Bell restaurant in Kelowna is also going out of business, we have learned.
Restaurants tend to come and go in this place. Remember Carl's Junior, The Pantry, and McDonalds, all in the downtown Kelowna area. How about the Bonfire Grill in Dilworth and even the Chinese Restaurant at the old Greyhound depot in Kelowna, plus the other Chinese restaurant at the Burtch Shopping Center.
All of these restaurants did well in their time. But, all have long bit the dust !

Saying Taco Bell has good tacos is like saying McDonalds has good hamburgers

My response was that, due to the high proliferation of fast food restaurants in West Kelowna and Kelowna, it is very hard to sustain a new or existing Taco bell ? Yeah, you can be "judgemental," but you don't really understand how business works, do you !
There is a Mexican restaurant on Main Street, West Kelowna, called Los Jarros, (not far from the Community Center). I have only eaten there, once, so I have no opinion of it. The food was neither good or bad. It was acceptable.
A better place is Hector's Casa on Pandosy Street in Kelowna.
Meanwhile, there have been a number of West Kelowna restaurants that have bit the dust in recent years, such as the City Lights restaurant, the Chinese restaurant that replaced it, and others.
