Favorite 60's/70's Music
I see the 80's music topic has slowed down somewhat after going gangbusters for a while.
Time to get into probably some of the best music of a generation that never gets old.........
I'll start it with one song appropriate now before I go crazy posting in the next few days.........
War........Edwin Starr

Thanks, but what changes does one make to the YouTube link?
I've done it correctly before but don't recall.

Delete everything from &t=3s&ab_channel=TheRollingStones and it will upload as a video.

Re: Favorite 60's/70's Music
I just discovered this song last week. Of course, I probably did hear it growing up because my dad was a fan of CSN {and sometimes Y]
The lyrics are genius and harmonies beautiful. I'm trying to get my wife, daughter, and son to do a 3 part harmony with this song (because they have beautiful voices that can stay on key, unlike me)...
here is a cover...

Huge WHO fan..........one standout performance was "See Me Feel Me" from Woodstock........probably one of the greatest live performances ever after "Live At Leeds".
.........Pete Townshend literally bleeds at every concert.........at 3:12 into the video you can see the blood on his fingers from doing his "windmill".

Probably one of the greatest opening guitar riffs............Ted Nugent and "Stranglehold".
This is a more recent concert footage but sounds amazing..........the singer here is Derek St. Holmes who did the vocals on the original recorded version.

Next to the WHO, I have always been a big Eagles fan. Every one of their albums is great but I think their second album "Desperado" was their best........a true west concept album if you will about the Dalton Gang from the early 1900's. Country rock at its best.
