Unwanted substitutions deter online grocery shoppers

Post by oneh2obabe »

Anjali Rego doesn’t mind some online grocery order substitutions. Swap out regular tomatoes for cherry tomatoes? No problem.

But other changes irk her. Switch regular meat for a plant-based substitute? No way.

“I don’t mind if you give me a different kind of tomato. But don’t goof up my meat,” says the Mississauga, Ont., resident.

Jesus H Christ, if you can't use the grey matter between the ears, head on down to the damn grocery store and pick up what you want. Most, if not all, stores allow you to substitute items and you can pick 'n choose which ones just by removing the check mark in the "allow substitution" box.

Same order - first with all items checked for subs. 2nd with some items showing no subs.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
