Re: Dressed in black balaclavas and masks - Olympic Protesters

Post by mountain_climber4567 »

A loosely organized group of "thugs" from central Canada and the U.S. that attaches itself to any cause and promotes anarchy formed part of the group of protesters who turned violent in downtown Vancouver's streets Saturday, police said.

"These protesters have within their ranks people we haven't seen before," Vancouver police Chief Jim Chu told reporters.

Police said the anarchists travel to any event that attracts media coverage and "promote anarchy wherever they go."

They also employ a tactic called "black bloc" where they dress in black and cover their heads and faces.

Captain they have done it before..........use of agents provocateurs to incite protesters to commit illegal acts...........ARE you so blind that you dont think they would not do it now........

I would not doubt that the government of British Columbia and Canada.would sanction the RCMP to instigate riots .. in order to destroy the work of the legal protesters..................

:ohmygod: Blaming the police for the actions of these fools is almost on par with the enviro-nut whack-jobs blaming Exxon every time one of their lies about global warming is exposed. As I said before, the protestors who resort to violence to be "heard" are navel lint, dregs of society, and there is no need to infiltrate their ranks - that's just looking for excuses and these people have no excuse for how stupidly they have acted.

Well actually, terrorists incite terror. Since these goons are so damned laughable they would more appropriately be called clowns.

It's easy for us to laugh from here (we get the commentary from posters like grumpy and cateyes that makes it even funnier), but it has been reported we have visitors in vancouver who were scared. I don't think the terrorism label is too far a stretch.

Our government... teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.

Atmosphere downtown is still very festive. I wouldn't want to be near those guys but everyone here seems pretty happy.

Sad Quote Nebs, I thought you had more to give than promoting violence.

I was talking to my friends in Vancouver, and apparently few of these black wearing morons from Quebec got beat up for trying to intimidate tourists. Way to go, Vancouver!

Haha, one billion dollars spent on olympic security, and they let a mob of two hundred get out of control. How are they gonna deal with it when Achmed decides to blow up a suitcase?

Uh...the scumbags shouting "Anarchy", breaking store windows and intimidating tourists are the ones promoting violence - if they get crap-kicked for it then it's called getting back what you give. If you don't want violence visited upon yourself, then don't start violence on others - pretty simple concept really.
