All things Olympic, be it the games themselves, economic impact, political comments, rants, raves . . . anything and everything Olympian goes here.

LOL. :-) Na, I appreciate people who are NOT poor losers as much as I do those who can be gracious winners. ;-)

You and probably every other team that has lost in sudden death overtime over the years.

Why? I really don't care all that much. Tomorrow these guys are all back in Pittsburg, Florida, California etc.. It really doesn't matter all that much to me. Just look at the players faces. They really don't care all that much and why should they. The NHL playoffs and their bonues are much more important to them. Can't say I blame them. I would feel the same way.

Kinda cool to see Crosby celebrating though. It's his first Olympics so he seems to be genuinely happy. It's another accomplishment to put on the list for him.

Or in a shootout...I still have nightmares about the Czechs beating us in 1998.

Irelands?

That was certainly a nail-biter of a game. I'm not really a hockey fan (yes, I know, a terrible thing for a Canadian to admit to) but I was sitting on the edge of my seat and talking at the tv.

YEAH CANADA!!! We're number ONE!!

To those of you who are disgruntled - just allow yourself to be proud to be a Canadian for a few minutes and stop picking everything apart. Try to glow in the sunshine for a little while.

Oh sure, when your team loses, everybody usually goes "Oh, I didn't care that much, whatever".

My team? I don't have a 'team'. That's my whole point. I feel no sense of connection to either team.

Now if you want to talk about the amateur athletes, whole different ball game.
