That he was at Royal LaPage Place is something to tell future generations of his family? Oookay.
No no no GrammaF, RR24 was at the GOLD Medal Men's Hockey Game for real. I was at the Royale LePage Stadium with Mr.QK and a hot coffee. RR24 was supposed to take me but there was a mix up at the airport. Damn.
Okay, the last sentence is a fib but but but....
Then I apologize. I thought you meant he was there in the crowd where you were but that you didn't see him there. Sorry.
no problemo. I've been a bit hard on you lately gramma and in the Olympic spirit I still carry, I apologize to you too. We all have our opinions and I respect yours too - I just got a bit carried away on the mass of emotion that a lot of us Canadians have been feeling in the past 48 hours. Keep up the good posts.

Didn't I read somewhere that 37 gold (USA) was the record? Or maybe I just dreamed it? ;-)

ahemmm any teeth marks in that keyboard yet?![]()
Don't think my heart didn't almost stop when that last 24 second goal was scored, We were cheering at Royale LePage Place and almost fell over. RR24K was somewhere in that crowd, and I have to say, he said he'd be wearing Red and White, but we still couldn't pick him out.
HOCKEY GOLD for MEN's and WOMEN's CANADIAN HOCKEY TEAMS.....
I was their having one hell of good time. After that second goal by US you could also hear a pin drop (for second). Then Sid goal the place just went crazy. Nothing like being they're so 14 that's just Awesome.

Yes, I was there is nothing like watching hockey live with 18,000 other screaming fans. I been to GM place a number of times for Canuck games the volume on Sunday was double. It was fantastic.

RR, for all the kidding around I'm glad you had a great time. Did you happen to take in the Closing Ceremonies?
Spend some time and money on establishing an Estate plan, a Legal Will, your wishes and who is the Executor. Watch Grant of Probate videos. Understand the process to help yourself and loved ones.

No, I did see a little here and there while enjoying the downtown party (big screens). I pre-ordered a DVD set.

Reality doesn't change just because it doesn't mesh with your preferred ideology or your feelings get hurt.
It's astonishingly sad that this fact needs to be explained to people who want to think they are adults.
