It's not that big a deal and only a minor annoyance.

Troy has asked for things we would like to see improved or changed and he has said he can change it so it's in his court now.

Maybe if you take a photo of your meme, edit it, and then post it?

Too much work if I had to do that for every photo I wanted to post.

There seems to be a size threshold. If the file is too small, you get the descriptor below it. To fix the issue, you need to resize the picture you're uploading. Seems that the file size needs to be at least 80-100kb for the descriptor to go away. Easiest way to do it would be open the file in paint and resize it, that will increase the file size. The issue with that method is that it effects the sharpness. You can resize it using an online app and it won't effect the quality as much, but it's a bit more work than it's worth.

Here's an example, same file but the second one has been resized in MS Paint. The first picture is 16kb, the second is 81kb and the descriptor is now gone. Hope that helps.
