Can a mp4 video be posted here.

Post by Babba_not_Gump »

I have video i want to post, not on YouTube, apparently its mp4 format and not allowed.
Is there any way it can be posted on Castanet?
Thanks
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Use a video converter to change the format to something Castanet allows.

There are free ones out there.

That would require further investigation, we all know that YouTubes are allowed and work just fine. I think that even the reporters do it this way as well.

We don't currently support hosting user-uploaded videos. You would have to use some other 3rd-party service, like YouTube, instead. Uploading it to something like Google Drive and making it publicly accessible, then sharing the link to it here will most likely work too.
