Change is good. It's happened before and it will continue to happen. If a like button and font are going to be the worst part of your day.... I think that's a good thing.

This upgrade is necessary for 2 very important reasons:
1. The version of phpbb we're currently running was last updated and
last supported over 6 years ago. There have been numerous security and
bug fixes since then, including a complete rewrite of that software.
2. We need to be running a much newer version in order to add new
features, like giving users the ability to register/login using a social
login service where they can use their Facebook or Google account, for
example, to get logged into Castanet. This should help simplify that
process for some users.

The only minor downside for the Forums is that the "like post" feature
will be gone, as that plugin isn't supported in the newer versions of
phpbb. It's possible we could create our own or install an alternative
version of that sometime later.

So. Like button vs security. Hmmmmm...

Anybody else not enjoying the new changes they made to the forums? Or is it just me
