Ouellette, Gray, Shepherd..... some choices.

Post by wthwyt »

:ohmygod: woohoo I really hope to see 1 or 2 more choices and not James Stuart either, because this field simply sucks big time.

Any thoughts, and before you ask. There is no way in hell I'd even think of becoming politician, so don't ask.

Has nothing to do with whining never been interested in the job, so why would I take a job I don't want. That would be bad choice taking a job you're not going to do your best in. More to a job than just money (yes money is important), I would rather do a job love & enjoy with less pay then one I'm not interested in.

well, then one can assume that the three mayoralty candidates all want the job because they think they can do the job, will enjoy doing the job, and has the energy required to do the job.

the problem is of course that when they get into office, or as is currently the case, before they get the job, they are already being criticized as being washed up, too old from the old boys club, et cetera.

if you think you can do a better job or have better ideas on how to run the city, it is time to step up. otherwise, the city is stuck with these "has beens".

Andy Uitvulgt should run again. I remember his election signs were strapped on traffic light poles one year.

Well You have stated that out with the green gaint and the golden goose, you asked for young blood.

Most of you say you don't want or need the job, but there is one who has challenged and stepped up not once but now a third time, as far as the other candidates go both new, one admits doesn't have a clue , the others not sure what they stand on either.
I wonder do you think that it may be she(Ouellette) does want the job. because she believes we citizens need an new approach
to how this city is run.
please don't miss my point " If you don't want old ways then don't vote old ways".( why you guys should run lol)
to vote for either Shepherd or Gray is putting our city at great dis-advantage for generations to come.
why give them more rope to hang us.
Our city is in debt, but these two will never admit that they are accountable soon we may not even afford the taxes
on our homes. :200:
