Wow. Not even a peep on the castanet homepage about this disgusting bill being passed through the house yesterday? Nice work Castanet. Either you're being told to keep your mouth shut, or lazy journalists. I'm assuming the former. It's barely being reported. I understand news sources are supposed to stay neutral, but when I'm being bent over by my own government as bad as this I expect there to be a bit more than this measly post - http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/bill-c-51-passes-in-house-of-commons-1.3064235

I have more to say about this and I hope the people of castanet do too. But it's late over here where I am and I need some rest. It's a sad day for Canada. For your information - both our Okanagan MP's voted for this bill. I'll be sending a letter in the morning. We have the wealth of knowledge of the world at our fingertips known as the Internet. I'm tired of telling people about things like this and them choosing to be ignorant and say, "wow that sounds bad.." And continue to carry on with their day. We shouldn't stand for this. This affects us all.

I'm fine with this bill. It will not affect me or anyone I know. But then I don't know any terrorists, so maybe I need to expand my world of friends so I can feel indignant also.
