To I Think ...

Do you profess to speak for "thousands of bureauecrats" ?? I would call that part of the imaginary world of the NDP.

I think that the truth would be closer to a few hundred NDP civil servant extremists across Canada who have been told by the Union to help their "brothers and sisters" in the NDP.

A few hundred....lol. Civil servants pensions are under attack by the Harper government. Nothing imaginary about that. A government that protects their own pensions. Wake up, Donald.

To Groove Tunes ...

Once more you are voicing the theory that ultimate god like authority has dictated that every Canadian Pensioner be provided with a pension of THEIR choosing, regardless of whether or not they have made any personal efforts to care for themselves in their senior years or not.

That sounds eerily like the extreme Socialist Mantra of "to each according to their needs" that failed in Russia and Greece.

The NDP Theory that seniors in Canada are not reasonably adequately provided for is absolute fiction being spewed out in their effort to "GET HARPER" rather than serve the people of Canada.

That is based on the thousands of senior citizens that I routinely encounter in my life as a Canadian senior citizen.

Reagan got elected because he promised to put the US so far into debt that social programs would be curtailed.
This has become a secret agenda of the rightists, practiced by GW harper, as well as GW bush.
$150 Billion bucks cant all be wrong

To Grove Tunes ...

If the situation is considered unacceptable by the NDP supporting unions why have the unions themselves not come up with a supplementary pension to address the theoretical pension "problems" that they identify ??

Having Union Members pay 2 or 3% of their earnings into a SUPPLEMENTAL pension fund for themselves would be consistent with what others in Government and Private Industry are doing.

The Union and the NDP are IMO opinon famous for demanding that "someone else" do something about everything but they themselves opt out on being part of the solution.

To I Think ...

I Think that your last comment is your completely unfounded personal opinion. It was Obama that actually ran up Trillions in debt with Social Programs like Medicare and repeatedly bailing out financial institutions and big business (employers) with hundreds of billions in loans and support.

Just like PM Harper ran up debt in order to save thousands of Canadians from from things like losing their homes and the equity that they had in their homes if the Canadian Government had not acted.

Keep in mind that according to the head of the World Bank, the Bank of Canada and the Royal Bank, Canada remains one of the top three western nations in regard to financial stability. Why let an amateur take over when the World Financial Storm is not yet over. The conservatives know what they are doing regardless of what the NDP song writers and singers who also happen to be Government Union Employees may have you believe.

Time to change, the clownish bus driver has lost his way, (if he ever had one)
harper seems bound and determined to make us the laughing stock of the western world.
A statesman would not need to childishly fire a guy for singing a song.

So when Obama puts the US into even more debt, to the tune of $7.5 trillion, that's a "secret agenda" of the awful leftist idiots in the Democratic party? Really? Interesting theory.
Justin Trudeau is an evil blight on this once great country. Shame on every single dumb-dumb that voted for this clown in 2021. LET'S GO BRANDON!!

What a bunch of BS. The unions have been consession bargaining with the Harper government since he was first elected. That's the only his government will negotiate. And you and your Harper sheeple want more? I'm just finishing a 4 month tour of northern Canada. Spoke to lots of people and got a first hand look at how they live. Some good, some bad. But one thing was constant... Come October 19th, there will be chance....big change.

LOL. Always with the excuses. What about Layton not disclosing that he was dying? That was cheating, big time.

Keep in mind that if the NDP were to get elected the Canadian people would survive.

Older Canadians have already defeated plagues and famine brought on by a terrible drough. Mulcair would leave the country in a shambles, but not that much worse off than nature has thrown at us before.

Not sure whether the young Socialist NDP supporters would make it through though with their "you owe me" and "you give me" attitude.

Actually Donald,
I Think that your last comment is your completely unfounded personal opinion

Your namesake Donald Regan, Ronnies chief of staff and secretary of the treasury, spelled it out with names and dates in his book, I no longer have the book so cannot give page numbers, sorry.

The deal ronnie made was to run up the national debt so that they could justify cutting back on the social safety net, in return for virtually unlimited campaign funding.
Sorry, but once again you are uninformed.

And your latest personal "opinion" about something that happened in the USA has WHAT to do with the Canadian Anti Conservative Public Service song writer ??

Or are you just scrambling desperately for material of wrongdoing elsewhere in the world to make it sound like it is somehow related to the "GET HARPER" Liberal and NDP crusade in Canada ?
