I'm not sure how a disgustingly racist float 'panders to the left', but while there clearly are Canadians who view those standing up against horrible and disgusting racism as 'garbage', informed voters not stuck in rural Albertan far right echo chambers know that racism is wrong. It's truly sad that elected MPs have to deal with so much evil and disgusting racism from far right extremists, but it's great to see Mr. Singh stand up to that right wing racism and hatred and demonstrate true Canadian values.

It's also strange that the most vocal Jagmeet Singh haters make such horribly racist gestures towards him when he's the only one in parliament holding Trudeau (whom the far right hate just as much, if not more) to account. Like it or not, Jagmeet Singh is leader of the opposition and anyone wanting more accountability from Trudeau's Liberals should be happy the NDP are there to so effectively serve that role.
