It's pretty simple, if you think unvaccinated healthcare workers should be let go than you are in essence denying the existence of a pandemic. If the healthcare system is supposedly strained to max why let go healthcare workers many of whom have been in the industry for decades? Logic would dictate that good many would have already acquired natural immunity in the last 18 months, and if the healthcare system is supposedly being strained by unvaccinated people what's the issue with unvaccinated nurses tending to them?

If one is assuming there is natural immunity that would mean they all would have had covid.

It’s been done in the insurance industry for decades. It’s called appropriate risk management, as determined by actuaries.
There is zero reason why they shouldn’t also apply that same risk management to Covid risk vis a vis vaccines.

^^ you're talking about Life Insurance policies which is a choice if one wants to buy it...our HealthCare System is a different ballgame...drug addicts can be revived from an OD multiply times in a day, a smoker who gets lung cancer gets treatment, a drunk who has cirrhosis of the liver gets treatment, an obese person who has a heart attack, high blood pressure, diabetes gets treatment etc...so why should getting covid be treated any differently ??

just remember that everything that I stated is a "personal" choice..one doesn't have to smoke, drink or be obese..they have the right to put whatever into their own body and still get treatment...so if someone decides to not get vaccinated from covid they should get the same treatment as anybody who has no problem killing themselves slowly everyday..

I find it crazy with amount of hatred some people have over the unvaxxed...either some people are hoping they will die or they should be denied treatment if they get sick...what a horrible way to look at your fellow human beings just because they have a different opinion about taking this vaccine...

Yes, our healthcare system is a different ball game because it is different than, for example, the American model. Being a government funded system, it is different than private pay, which would have penalties and benefits all over the place, dependent upon risk.

And, the hatred you describe works both ways. There was a couple of posters who blatantly wished death upon the premier and others simply because of Covid policies. So yes, it is a horrible way to look at your fellow human beings.

I wouldn't call that logic at all ..Imagine working in an environment for so long with only PPE to protect you and it worked .Then a vaccine comes out that seems to have promise only to see it fade daily AND have side effects that include death and they're being FORCED to take it or their careers will be over ?

Where's the logic in telling people that they MUST take a potion, created in haste, that has effects that leave you with heart problems, blood clotting and , yes , death or they can't do their jobs anymore ?

Where's the logic of saying to those once heros that everything they did for and gave to people in such dire need that what they did is now with what they had is "not good enough" ?

More and more info comes out everyday concerning side effects and the number of those affect continue to rise along side of those who have taken the full course of an experimental "treatment" that are now in the very place they were "assured" they wouldn't be ??
