I think standing up against the insanity is a good thing. Everyone at the gym is vaccinated, you are suppose to wear a mask and clean up the area that you workout at. Why is it that busses can run, the mall can be open and people can flood stores vaccinated or not. Omicron is shown to be less deadly. So what’s the issue.

We’ve got nurses being told to work with Covid infections yet nurses were fired if they didn’t want to get vaccinated. This virus isn’t even that deadly. It’s nuts, I talk to people and they seem deathly afraid of this virus like the media is totally brain washing them.

I got Covid last year and it barely gave me a headache and I’m now double vaxxed after the fact. Im no anti vaxxer but I can see that the government is over stepping in a huge way.

For all of you complaining that the gym owner is rude or being a bully. How about the government?

I want to go back to the gym. Just watch Rotton bonnie will prob extend the gym closures after the 18th.

These people are the reason we are stuck with these restrictions. These people were never bullied a day in their lives and because they are defying public health orders now they are playing victims. They are going to lose their business. They must be so oppressed being asked to close during a huge wave of the pandemic. So glad my gym is responsible and cares about public health. Play stupid games you win stupid prizes. Can't believe they can't see the irony.

It’s funny that they will lose everything now. No sympathy now, and to the people encouraging and saying “keep fighting” “ we are with you”, well guess what!? All you are doing is encouraging them to lose there biz. I can guarantee you the company that owns that building will be pulling there lease, due to not having a business licence and insurance now. I fully support their decision to tell dr Henry to stick it.
It makes no sense that a casino can stay open & a gym be shut down.
No sense at all.

What everyone should do, is go report there “Go fund me campaign”. They have one set up, to help pay the fines the province is handing them for staying open. Really? Your going to use money to help pay for breaking the law? Please go and report it. They do not deserve a dollar from anyone

What would you do if you have endured 2 years of closures, on and off again and for my example are out of money (clearly they are since they can't afford the $2,300 fine). Would you close up shop again for good since you are maxed out and can't afford to close? Would you fight to stay open and hope it works and if it doesn't oh well you were gonna get shut down anyway?

The situation they are in is impossible and the government is favouring other business over these very small ones.

Did you not see that they have 1300 members? That’s over 70,000$ in gross earnings per month…. They aren’t fighting to stay alive. They are fighting Because they don’t like being told what to do. There children

Casino patrons sit and breathe. Gym participants excercise and expend/exhaust lung capacity at a high rate. Big difference.
