Vote Count

Discuss the upcoming provincial election. Keep it civil in here, people. It's not the Political Arena.

It's really interesting that the non winners will blame low voter turnout......as if everyone, or even a greater proportion, of those who didn't vote would have voted for the losing party.
We have never had 100% voter turnout and the people who voted, on ALL sides, voted because they cared enough to do so, and cared enough to have input on who would form the government. There were people who were ndp leaning who didn't vote but there were people who were liberal leaning that didn't vote. Who cares....they had their opportunity but chose not to excercise it because THEY didn't care enough to do so.
That is also their right to NOT vote, as well as the right to vote.

That's great to address voter turnout but, statistically, why do the losers think it would have made a difference to them? If they could address their own party supporter turnout, that would have made a difference but, obviously, they are lacking in the ability to make their supporters care enough to get in a car and vote.

What happened to all the polls? All of them were pointing at NDP win, if not crushing, but at least confident. But the real pictures was quite upside down. Did they screw up so bad? Did people change their minds in less than 24 hours?
Sarcasm is like a good game of chess. Most people don't know how to play chess.

I'm going to go with, people chose to torment the NDP by allowing them to think they were going to win, so gave false responses to pollsters. LOL
