Leadership debate on Bill Good this morning
Just listening to the leadership debate on Bill Good. My impression - Christy is hard to listen to, and is attacking Dix at every instance. Cummins doesn't make much sense. Jane Sterk is clearly insane, but at least she is consistent. And the Greased Weasel is his usual self, not answering any questions, bleating his soundbite about how he's "fully costed" his increase in spending, which is a giant load of garbage, and then he just babbled away again about why he is such a giant coward and wants to kill the Kinder Morgan pipeline. That guy just makes me want to barf listening to him babble. It really depresses me that he's going to be our premier.

I'm listening as well. Bill Good is doing an excellent job, as always, in being fair and keeping it moving. Clark has done an excellent job thus far in pointing out Dix's lack of transparency and Dix is the one playing defence.

Re: Leadership debate on Bill Good this morning
I did like Clark's comment that Dix's platform looks like it was written on a napkin. She's totally right. The NDP "platform" that has been released rather late, is a joke. It's deliberately as vague as possible, which is exactly how the Greased Weasel operates. Are you going to kill Kinder Morgan? Probably. He doesn't "like" tanker traffic in Vancouver, even though Cummins pointed out that tankers have been going in and out of Vancouver for 60 years. He refuses to answer the question. He just wants to be vague enough to attract the Green Party voters and suck them in to voting NDP with vague answers. At least Sterk is consistent. She's completely nuts. But at least she says she WILL kill all economic development. It's nuts, but at least we know where she stands.
Callers keep bugging Dix about his wishy-washy stance on Kinder Morgan, and he refuses to give a straight answer. Such a massive coward.

Wow - Dix is getting his butt handed to him!! Christy is shredding him!!! No wonder that the yellow coward didn't want to go head to head with her. The only thing saving him is that Good has to keep going to Cummins and Sterk for their views. Dix was really caught when Christy brought up the Globe and Mail article that quoted Dix as admitting he had concealed his views on Kinder Morgan from the public. Hilarious!! Dix is going down hard!!

Thanks! Dix looks really nervous. He should be. He is blowing it.

Christy Clark is definitely wiping the floor with Dix. Dix is definitely nervous while Clark (and the others) are poised. Dix continues to play defence which is the opposite of what one would expect from the challenger.

and right now, I'd vote for you Logi over Dix. The guy is a massive coward and inspires no confidence whatsoever.

Clark has skilfully pointed out the difference between the Liberals' plan and the NDP plan to post larger and larger deficits. If you read Jon Manchester's Courier editorial that I posted in the NDP platform thread you'll see that he is also skillful in demonstrating the difference between the two parties' fiscal plans.

Looking at the body language is interesting. Dix looks shifty and is squirming. He is definitely nervous. Clark is confident and clear.
