XT, I am actually encouraged by your support for the NDP. Your track record for supporting second place finishers is stellar.
XT you are amazing. You continue to bat a thousand in election outcomes for second place. ROFLMAO The heck with the pollsters.....next election we only need to see who XT supports to know the end result. Seriously, you should figure out a way to make some money off this talent of yours.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Don't get too cocky there twobits...from what you were saying before (if we can believe you), you likely voted for the Cons. Haven't done the math yet but appears that more people voted AGAINST Ashton than FOR him, just as happened in the last municipal election. He is NOT that popular a person. I still kept hearing right up until election day, that people were going to vote FOR him, just to get him outta Dodge (mayor's seat). Penticton, in a sense then is a winner. We get rid of his track record (whew) and get a new mayor, which Ashton will be paying the cost of the byelection. There was a lot more to this local vote than promoting a guy whom most of the people liked; that's not how it went. Wouldn't it be Ironic if the Liberal leader, who didn't even win her own seat, asked Ashton to step aside so she could have a place to sit and call home. No thanks...we don't want Ashton back. No refunds.

Too funny XT. It wasn't even that close. Dan won by over 1250 votes. To suggest over 1250 people voted for him just to get him out of the Mayors chair is just grasping at straws in a lame search for a reason for an epic NDP fail other than the truth.....the majority of the province didn't want the economy to go in the toilet with the NDP.
The posturing is over xt, just accept the fact that the people voted and more of them disagree with your vision than agree
