The perimeters of this thread are clear and facts are important. Young and old can suffer strokes and if there is a history in the family it’s really important to watch one’s health for signs.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

Re: Stroke. NO COVID VACCINE TALK PLEASE
The whole point of this thread was to bring awareness. Sometimes one takes their health for granted until something happens. I’m at the age I’m not going to take chances and have taken a good hard look at my diet. The physical part is easy though may not be for others. Ads regarding strokes are on TV a lot and if one person seeks help in time the ads are worth every penny.

A person has to look at everything they put in their body and ask themselves if it will increase their risk. Look at the research.

Drug addicts probably have a higher risk of stroke. The whole point is watch one's health and be aware.

Re: Stroke. NO COVID VACCINE TALK PLEASE
Sadly, worldwide stroke deaths could increase by 50 percent by 2050...
"Alarmingly, evidence suggests that the incidence of stroke in younger individuals (ie, people younger than 55 years) is increasing worldwide.3 The absolute number of people affected by stroke, which includes those who die or remain disabled, has almost doubled in the past 30 years.1 Most of the contemporary stroke burden—86% of global deaths and 89% of global DALYs lost because of stroke in 2020—is in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs),1 and the burden of stroke is increasing faster in LMICs than in high-income countries (HICs).1 Stroke is also a leading cause of depression and dementia, which are other common non-communicable diseases (NCDs).4, 5"
Lots of data if you do a deep dive.

Censorship may lead to lack of information and subsequent development of apathy, ignorance, conformism and general stagnation. It may threaten democracy and encourage subversive activities... but worse is invisible censorship - it's alive and well.

Re: Stroke. NO COVID VACCINE TALK PLEASE
No one should argue this, however, there seems far too many are needing to deflect from it as the principal realization to poor health and vulnerability, in order to avoid acknowledgement and personal responsibly to dangerous health and vulnerability. The worse of it is that governments seem to be taking a soft woke, PC approach as well as seen recently. As usual the burden, the numbers associated with unhealthy lifestyle's will increase because for the life of us, accepting that the majority of all discussion, media coverage, government recommendations etc. be directed at changing societies excuses and addressing the obvious is not at the forefront.

Who’s talking about taking drugs to prevent strokes?

Might want to start by looking in this very thread.

How is a stroke treated?
For an ischemic stroke, you may get a clot-dissolving medicine called tissue plasminogen activator (TPA). You may get other medicines to prevent blood clots. A procedure may be done to remove the clot and restore blood flow.
For a hemorrhagic stroke, you may get medicine or a transfusion with parts of blood. This can stop the bleeding in the brain. You may have surgery or a procedure to repair an aneurysm or relieve pressure on the brain. You may get medicines to control blood pressure, brain swelling, and other problems.
After either kind of stroke, treatment shifts to preventing future strokes and to your recovery. A stroke rehabilitation program can help you recover and learn ways to adapt to changes caused by a stroke. Medicine and a heart-healthy lifestyle can help prevent another stroke. Your doctor will help you manage other conditions that put you at risk for another stroke.
