Help with my hair!

This reminds me of the time I was looking for a new look in the way of a lighter brown verging on blonde.....only to have my hair turn bright pumpkin orange! Apparently I didn't leave it in long enough but whoa, how embarassing.

I agree with gardengirl, best to seek professional help. I know when this happened to me I managed to find a place that specialized in colouring and colour corrections (mind you, this was in Vancouver). But perhaps there is a similar "specialist" here in town?? They knew just what to do to counteract the orange and it ended up looking great. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I tried the soap washing, no change. Luckily my wonderful husband was able to talk to a salon and they'll have a person come in for me to help fix it all up.

Only thing I'm worried about is now my hair feels so dry. I hope I don't have to chop it all off..

If you hear a wierd shrill in the air tomorrow at 10am..you know it's all coming off!

Update for those who are wondering.

I went a salon this morning and I got a great fix to my hair. Absolutely love it.

Lesson learnt.

Secret for deep conditioning: put mayonaise in a dish, throw it in the nuker to get it warm, slather all of your hair, roots to ends, and cover with a plastic bag..hair only. :12077:

Leave on for minimum of 1/2 hour. (I used to leave mine on for an hour) Super conditioned shiny hair! :123:
