Re: Medical Malpractice
Doctors are people too and just like any profession, some are good and some are not, some are nice and some are jerks, some are kind to their patients but nasty to nurses and vice versa, BUT!!!! If you do not have faith in your doctor then change physicians! Do not stay with a physician that you do not have faith in and that you can not be open with. Physicians make mistake to and as a society with access to many different forms of information we need to access that information and do as much research as we can (from legitimate sources) about our health and diagnosis. We need to take an active role in our health and the health of our families. Ask questions and communicate openly with your physician they need the whole story in order to make an informed choice of what follow up needs to be done.

Does "malpractice" not occur only when harm is done? It is a very strong word.
People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of their character.

What I meant was "wrong diagnosis", in this specific instance. But I also have another instance where a wrong diagnosis could possibly lead to dire consequences, so the title somehow, does relate and could lead to the worst case scenario, which is "medical malpractice".
