...and I do so appreciate that coffee dl! What more do I want? Hmmmm there is one poster I would love to personally wax! Trust me, I'd take great delight in doing it as painfully as I could.

Is she going the 'whole hog' then?!

The more people I meet, the more I like my dog.

So what you're saying is you would talk to them while you did the wax. Yup, that would be painful.

Re: Ladies only
Anybody ever try cooking up some sugaring wax? Well I just did, and it did seem to work - the hairs are no more. I'm still on the fence about how much I love it since I have sensitive skin and only time will tell. It probably takes some practice though, cause I seem to have missed some spots - I've never tried waxing anything before.
The recipe is simple and super cheap...
2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Mix em all up in a pot and cook over medium-low heat until the mixture is an amber color. Let it cool enough to not burn yourself, then spread a thin layer in the direction of the hair growth. Next, take strips of cotton (like from an old sheet) and smooth over the wax, also in the direction of hair growth. Pull your skin taught, then quickly pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth. You can use the same strip many times. Your skin should be clean, exfoliated, lotion free, and dry before you begin. Extra wax can be saved in an airtight, refrigerated container and reheated as required.

Thanks for the info yellow sprinkles! It sounds really easy......question is, did it hurt?
And have you broken out in an itchy, red rash in sensitive places we don't want to mention? I too have sensitive skin and am wondering how you might react after.....so basically you can be my guinea pig so be sure to let me know!

Re: Ladies only
I'm not going to lie, it did kind of hurt LOL. But not too bad mind you, and no more so than the one time I was waxed professionally. My skin was a little bit red for a couple hours, but today I have happy skin... and I do mean in the most sensitive of areas LOL... so far the only place I've tried. As far as a rash goes, I guess that would be ingrown hairs. I'm hoping I don't have any issues with that!
