Triple6, about your story with your friends broken toe, there was nothing wrong with her going to the doctor to get that looked at. One thing i've learned when it comes to personal health, never rely on your friends advice, unless they happen to be a doctor.
I beg to differ. I have broken many of bones, countless. Toes cannot be fixed by a Dr. Especially one toe. Any person can google it on the net and know what to do. If I went to the Dr everytime I hurt myself, I should just live there.
Also my post didn't state giving her any advice. She sought medical advice before I heard about it.
Not everyone has knowledge on how to take care of or identify broken bones. I don't know the whole story with your friends broken toe, nor do I need to know it, she had a broken toe, she went to the doctor, and he patched her up. Did she leave with the knowledge on how to diagnose/treat a broken toe? Or did the doctor just send her on her merry way still uninformed?
Oh and I decided to google broken toes for the hell of it, why not get myself some education on the matter at hand. Turns out not all broken toes can just be "taped", if it's the big toe it might need to be casted, if its a bad enough fracture you might need surgery.

It all comes down to commonsense.

If someone suspects they have a broken toe - that's a very good reason to seek medical attention. Any broken bone can have complications.
But yes, it does boil down to common sense. There are a ot of things people go to the doctor for that they really shouldn't have to. Or, they go to emergency when they could go to a walk in or their own doc.

Huh? 9 months. Ever heard of 9 months? The reason so many babies are born in the summer is because it's cold in the winter 9 months prior.
Note to lady tm. There's this thing called sexual intercourse. That is when conception happens. 9 months later, the stork brings you a baby. You can plan for when the stork arrives.

Not everyone is as fertile as you seem to expect - it took half a year of trying for me to get pregnant (both times). It took my sis a solid year, and another friend I know is still trying . . . 7 years later. So I'd guess not all of us have the "bunny gene".
I haven't failed until I quit.
