Post by uwho »

I have boughten so many pillows in the last few years and have yet to find the "öne"if you know what i mean.

I sleep on my tummy, and yes i know its a bad thing considering i have back issues...i go to sleep on my side but always wake up on my tummy....its a curse i tell ya.

anyway...i am looking for the best pillow for people who sleep on their tummies, please tell me if you can where/what store carries them.

thanks for yor input!

I love my feather pillows and use several at a times. I like how they fit around my head and can shape them to my needs.

I have a memory foam pillow. I like having the ridge under my neck for extra support. With other pillows I was constantly bunching them up to get it but they'd never stay put.

I often find myself sleeping on my tummy and as soon as I do, I put a spare pillow under my lower abdomen and use a very thin pillow under my head. I always have a spare pillow that I put between my knees when I sleep on my side, or if I (seldom) sleep on my back. Sleeping on your tummy you should try to keep your neck straight and not have a big pillow under your head/face.

Me too. Memory foam is my favorite. Took a few nights to get used to, then it was all good.

Jenny, I think your signature has a bug in it ;)

I used to sleep on stomach but got lots of headaches and that was one of the problems. Took lots of practice, but finally got used to sleeping on side.

Never tried it, but I heard it's good to surround yourself in pillows. Keeps you from rolling onto stomach. Or maybe one between knees would help that. Heard that's a good idea too.

If nothing works, maybe try head on side edge of pillow so head tilts down alittle, then neck wouldn't be twisted quite as badly. Don't want your face too close to the mattress though, it's good to have room for your exhale to get away from you. A good firm memory foam pillow would probably be best for this.

Not sure where I got mine, but I think they're everywhere... maybe superstore?

Got my flat (no curve) memory foam pillow at Costco and it works for me. I tend to sleep on my stomach and side.

I only use feather and down pillows. I like to bunch them where I need them - I sleep only on my left side and want that extra "bunch" under my neck but also want it pushed away from my face. Can only do that with down pillows. I bought my pillow from WalMart - about $30 and I have used it for about 6 years now.

I sleep very soundly and once asleep, never move. I wake up exactly where I went to sleep. I crawl into bed, bunch my pillow under my neck, tuck my covers in behind me, get cosy, and am off to dreamland within 5 minutes normally - and stay asleep until it is time to get up in the morning. Bed making is easy - just a quick smooth-up and its done. :D

Oh how nice grandma freddie........never move whole asleep!! how fortunate for you.

I sleep soundly , not much wakes me up once i am asleep...its just that i wake up with lower back ache, migraines sometimes and its annoying.

i think memory pillow may not be good for me as i like to bunch, tuck, fluff pillows too:)

I have heard some great suggestion people, thanks so much!!

i have feather pillows....but they have lost their fluff.....need to purchase new ones, thats why i wanna get some feedback from as many ppl as possible:)
