Cervical Cancer Screening Program Campaign Oct. 24-30
http://campaigns.hellocoolworld.com/ind ... age_id=168
As we know, screening saves lives but it’s hard to remember to schedule a Pap test or challenging to even find a doctor.
Pap Awareness Week (or PAW) is the chance for women of all ages who are due for a Pap test to get one from their local clinic. From October 24-30, 2010, participating clinics will have their doors open for drop-in appointments—some will even have gift bags for women who get screened! By celebrating women’s health and empowerment with an entire week devoted to Pap awareness, we hope many women take charge of their health and get screened.

Re: Cervical Cancer Screening Program Campaign Oct. 24-30
Every woman - get screened!
Cervical cancer is not always caused by HPV. I have known two women who have had cervical cancer and neither one had ever had a STD/I. I am happy to say that both of these women are here today because of early screening with their regular pap smears, one had to undergo radiation and the other was cancer free after just the removal of the small tumor. Also, age is not a factor! 28 & 21 were the ages of the women when they received their diagnoses, you are never too young to have this happen. One is cancer free now for 22 years and the other is just at the 3 years mark. Just like your breasts the rest of your girl parts need examining too!

Yes! If you don't want to feel like a rotisserie chicken rotating on a radiation rod, then get yourselves screened!!
Don't take my silence to mean I've agreed with you; I easily could've just lost interest in explaining how wrong you are.

I agree - if you aren't on a regular schedule with your gp, get your girl-parts down to one of those clinics!
I haven't failed until I quit.
