Ancient Chinese Secrets
So I'm looking for a quick heal to a cold sore, anyone got an ancient chinese secret they'd like to share? or somethin' their mammas taught them? or just something they've found works the best?
I need this gone by Monday!

Re: Ancient Chinese Secrets
These aren't Chinese secrets for cold sores, but this is a list of home remedies for cold sores.
Don't take my silence to mean I've agreed with you; I easily could've just lost interest in explaining how wrong you are.

Off topic remark: I know most posters by their avatars and JMO's new one had me scratching my head for a second. Daria I know by her signature so that didn't take me long to clue into. Looking good ladies!
On topic remark: Sorry, I have no advice but wish you a speedy heal.

I can at least promise you that my avatar will always be yoga or meditation related!

Re: Ancient Chinese Secrets
Ok...so I went home and put ice on it and then tee tree oil....then before bed I used a clean and clear face cleaner on it (thinking it would help dry it out)....next day I popped any little blisters and used tee tree again...then the clean and clear again and a perscrition I got for clearing up an infected patch of psoriasis I had a while back (thinking it would fight any infection type thing like polysporin (spelling?))
As of today, it is slightly red but dried up and healing (I put Visine on it to get rid of the red and it helped a bit)

Visine on the skin to get rid of the red? Well isn't that something.. I'll have to give that a try sometime. Thanks for the tip.

I've heard that one but I'm not so sure how I feel about putting bum cream on my face... Lol
Steep black tea bags, press out some of the liquid and chill in the fridge. Placing the cooled tea bags on your eyes for a few minutes gets rid of tired eyes too. The tea that had been steeped (make it strong!) can be used as an anti perspirant. Keep it in the fridge so it doesn't go bad quickly - just apply to the underarms using a cotton ball.
I also keep two spoons in the freezer for getting rid of puffy eyes. The spoons cup over and around my eyes perfectly and after just a minute or two it looks as though I've actually slept!
