Nope, she tells healthy young people to get a flu shot to protect the health care system 'from being overloaded.' But healthy young people don't overload the health care system ususually - old people do. So what exactly is Susan Brown doing?

Usually in the past from September forward i'd go to Walmart or Superstore and all id hear and see are people coughing, hacking, sniffling etc and i'd avoid their airstream like the plague if possible.

This year so far nothing i can think of. Did all the sanitizing and masks make a difference or am i just imagining this?

The most heavily flu shot vaccinated people are the ones most susceptible to Coughing, hacking and sniffling.
Flu shots are free for First Nations, elderly, and those people with certain medical conditions.

Normally a healthy person wouldn't get a flu shot.

Funny thing - only 2% of China gets a flu shot. So 1.3 billion people will not be allowed on a plane, but First Nations and elderly and people with certain medical conditions will be allowed on a plane. In other words - the coughing hacking and sniffling are the only ones that will be allowed to fly.

Penticton has 30,000 people.
Each year all 30,000 of us will get the common cold.
Each year 1,000 in Penticton will get the flu.
If a flu shot is 20% effectiuve like in 2018, that means 20% - or 200 people will have less pain and suffering for three weeks.
AND 1/5 of a life will be saved - the Health Authorities tell us. (if everyone gets a flu shot)

Out of 7 billion people - 50,000 die from flu each year.

So in conclusion, Health Authorities want everyone in Penticton to get a flu shot to save 1/5 of a life while:
800 still get the flu,
30,000 still get the common cold,
15,000 will get cancer,
20,000 are overweight or obese, and the number is going up
3,000 have diabetes and the number is going up,
3,000 will have heart disease and the number is going up,
3,000 kids have ADHD, and the number is going up
3,000 have asthma, and the number is going up
60 have autism and the number is going up. Way up.

And....they say people do get the flu after a flu shot, but it's less severe. so maybe flu shots don't prevent anyone from getting the flu.
