The homeopathic remedy made from rabid dog saliva that a Victoria naturopath says she used to treat a small boy was not licensed for sale in Canada, and the federal government is opening an investigation.

which is concerning.

Maybe we need more controls then, you know...more controls lets say....on shipping.

Come on....you seem to want controls and rules and regulations on everything.

Do you not think that people can decide for themselves?

Do you really think a world operated by a massive control grid is a good idea?

You've expressed you would like controls on back country vehicles, smokers, drivers, drugs, homeless, health care, now shipping and receiving ... where does it end for you fancy?

If you would like I know where you can purchase a straight jacket and protect yourself rather nicely, all snug and under control. Would you like the details?

You'll be waiting a while...because according to the report, the medicine worked as intended.

"In a blog post that has since been removed, practitioner Anke Zimmermann detailed her treatment of the boy's sleep and behavioural problems as a success."
https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/b-c-naturopath-criticized-for-treating-boy-with-rabid-dog-saliva-1.3894248

Had the boy not taken this particular medicine he would still be suffering from said symptoms, but Health Canada could care less about the boy being healed.

Health Canada cares about control and profits - healing and recovery of an individual is not Health Canada's mandate.

"The statement said the sale of unlicensed natural health products is prohibited and could result in a $5,000 fine or up to three years in prison."

The above statement speaks only to power, control and profit.

Anke Zimmermann told CBC News earlier this week that she purchased her lyssinum from Helios Homeopathy in the U.K. While the treatment — also known as lyssin or hydrophobinum — is approved in general by Health Canada, the lyssinum produced by Helios is not licensed for clinical use here.

"Helios Homeopathy does not hold a licence for any products containing the ingredient lyssin/hydrophobinum," Health Canada spokesperson Andre Gagnon wrote in an email.

Helios was formed by John Morgan and four enthusiastic homeopathic students with a great passion for homeopathy. Their shared ambition was to create a new source of potent, accurate and effective remedies to bring profound healing and relief of suffering.

Twenty seven years on we have sixty dedicated staff based at our Tunbridge Wells and Covent Garden locations and a bank of over 3,500 remedies, serving customers in 140 countries.

Since I never said anything about the dog saliva not working, why would you ask me for proof? Not that it matters. Ask your big pharma friends - you keep bringing them up.

If dog saliva is medicine, does that mean these people aren't just being gross, they're also self medicating?

^^ ICK!!! Double ICK!!!
Why do people who fancy themselves "fiscal conservatives" not scream at hidden debt accumulated in the past dozen years? Or, do they only object to spending on social programs?

And the parents of the boy aren't wondering why a bottle of water cured their child of his behavior problem? People can be pretty gullible.
