Pancreatic cancer
Is there any one on here who has or knows someone who has pancreatic cancer
that has metastasized and is palliative?
Asking as I know someone who is in that situation and was looking for a support group
of others going through the same thing.People to talk with who would understand.
There is no such group in Kelowna so I'm putting this out there.
Thank you, hope to hear from someone.

Thanks for this Fancy, I will pass it on.
She has been getting worse quite quickly so
don't know if she will phone them.
Found out she had it to late and there is not
much that can be done for it.

Don't know that I believe this but she is past the point of treatments now.
Article said he had lung cancer which is much different than pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst (quickest) cancer and usually by the
time you know you have it its bad.
Also article said something about trying to find a Dr to write a prescription for it would be difficult.

It's so tough, disheartening, heartbreaking yet one wants to help the best way they can. I've sat and listened and sometimes just sat to keep company and held a hand. I hope she finds some peace and has someone by her side when she needs someone.

Very heartbreaking.
There is always a family member with her.
She is never left alone and we will be with
her till the end.
Just wish it wasn't so sudden and quick.
Its been a shock.

I get it - make some laughter and connection with past experiences. The end doesn't have to be horrible.
