New Cancer drug given patent!

According to an Aurin Biotech news release, the oral medication accomplishes this "by preventing the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which induces capillary formation".

The news release states that "no other anti-cancer agents are known to arrest the progression of malignant tumours".

And initial tests have shown no side effects in research subjects.

Totally good news.

Now all we have to do is convince the world to take just 10% off their defense budgets for just one year and put it towards finding a checkmate cure.

And if I had my rathers, take 20% off global defense budgets to find a cure for all disease and the ageing process... which would cure the planet of overpopulation because people wouldn't grow old, thereby negating the frantic need to reproduce within a 25 year-ish window.

Thank you for posting. It is exciting. Everyone's life is being touched by this insidious disease in some way shape or form. Lets hope this is the game changer we so desperately need.

Aurin tricarboxylic acid has been used for some time to treat cancer but seems to be zeroing in on glioblastoma which would be awesome to have a treatment if not a cure.

This sounds like it was derived from thalidomide or at least the limited testing on certain male patients on particular cancers.
And yes it is the same drug that caused thalidomide babies, that why it was tested on male patients only.

I mentioned thalidomide treatment for cancer on the vaccine thread. It is still in use for various ailments.
