Are we talking full-on doses here, like the amounts taken by recreational users, or microdoses? From what I have read on the topic, medicinal use typically involves much smaller doses than is typically seen in recreational use.

I would think that the therapeutic value of LSD would be to re-examine ones place in the universe and explore/accept the reality of your death.
I suspect that micro doses simply give an electric buzz, and visually altered colors, but do not know how it might work as an analgesic.
