I’m not sure that’s the appropriate response knowing the rising covid cases and cholera they are suffering from
I’m not sure that’s the appropriate response.
Mimicking what is said is childish. Haitian people are suffering from increasing covid cases and deaths to cholera and other issues.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

And there's reasons for that - even a study on it.

Ok....
Simple answer re Haiti.
It is not exactly a tourist destination.
No Covid being brought in to the country, like other jurisdictions.
Covid has to come from somewhere, in order to infect.
As for our native Indians, they are prone to health problems.
Thousands have died from Smallpox and TB,( no not all from residential schools)..before Covid was heard of.
Biological research confirms their genetic makeup causes them to fall ill from these and other diseases.
Up in the Arctic, they have now hundreds of cases of T.B. another unfortunate disease that affects them more than others.

It’s a virus. You can’t stop it. Regardless if it’s a destination location or not.

Explain why highly vaccinated Japan had 7700 Covid deaths in December? Vaccine doesn’t work.

Covid did make its way to Haiti, cases were reported early as March 2020, Dominican Republic right next door also has cases.

Perhaps it was the timing of the booster shot for the elderly (most vulnerable). If it went out in early 2022, then it would be nearly a year now since. A Japanese study already showed that immunity wanes more in the elderly . Elderly in Canada got their booster this fall, so it would still be fairly effective for them.
https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2021/ ... erly-2022/

Japan has fewer ICU beds per population than some other countries.
"It turns out there is a dire shortage of intensive care specialists able to treat COVID-19 patients in ICUs. So they have limited ability to handle a surge of pneumonia/high level care patients.

According to the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine (JSICM), Germany, with a population of 80 million, has about 8,000 intensive care specialists. In contrast, there are only around 2,000 in Japan, which has a population of 126 million."

Japan has 36 million people over age 65. We've already looked at the low population in Haiti that are seniors or elderly.

Dr Malhotra did research that determined - unequivocally - THE COVID VACCINE MUST BE SUSPENDED.

CASE CLOSED.

The thing must be suspended - NOW.

There's worse things to worry about than a once in a hundred year global pandemic (allegedly)?

I would suggest learning what’s going on there

That response is childish.
