Buy a Dyson from Costco.....can take it back anytime.Lady tehMa wrote:I will, thanks. I'm just a little leery of purchasing a used vacuum privately.
I still have 2 vacuum stores to check out - I probably would consider reconditioned as well.
I have had a number of people tell me (in person) not to go with Dyson, one of the reasons being the cost of shipping because they can't be repaired locally . . . bad experiences I guess.

Best Buy has some vacuums on sale. I was on the website looking at other stuff.

Don't fret too much Sudsy, golf season is almost here. They just have to get those greens and tees covers off.
WHAT "other stuff" were you looking at? OOOoohhh....I know, you were just reading the articles. How come you spend sooooo much time on the color laser printer centerfolds?
If you got one you couldn't print anyways..........due to lack of connectivity.

Canadian Tire has vacuum sales on a fairly regular basis with up to 50%. If you can bide your time, it might be worth waiting for one to come on sale there.

Re: Canister Vacuum
I bought one - ended up with a Miele CX1 Cat and Dog
This one here https://www.costco.ca/Miele-Blizzard-CX ... 80833.html though I didn't buy at Costco. I got mine at the Vacuum Superstore at Springfield/Spall - taxes in, it cost us $730. I'm really happy with it

I haven't failed until I quit.

I replaced our built in canister from them last year. Good service and prices.
