but none of that happened... sucks to be the "for growth for a few" side...

Nonsense on both counts.

I think the staunch anti-swappers just might be surprised after a year or so how true the phrase "Heavy is the head that wears the crown" will prove true.

Being in the spotlight has a way of turning extremists into moderates. It just isn't as comfy at the head of the table as it is in the peanut gallery.

As to the swap, either way it doesn't effect me in any way other than positively.

Who's saying "whoa is me". ??????

You know-there's a lady called Nadine who posts on a Summerland politics fb page who is totally full of knowledge and common sense.
It's too bad she didn't run for council, she's way more informed and experienced than some like Erin Carlson. Just sayin'.

Not likely. Summerland is a town divided and has been for years. The "voices" certainly won't be taking any time off, you can count on that. They just get a little louder around election time is all. :)

So sad a statement Logi when you have to resort to the success of a socialist gov't in a tiny community like Summerland as a victory. In the bigger picture Logi, at the Provincial level, who is the one on the sidelines chirping "whoa is me"? Oh wait, I think that is you lol.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I know of a crop that is ideally suited for smaller acreages, and no, it's not marijuana. Drought tolerant, frost tolerant, re seeds itself, up to $200K/acre, 4 years to full crop.

Credibility shot. If such a crop existed, 200k/acre, there would not only be every fruit tree and grape vine pulled out and replanted, everyones front and back yard would be planted with it too.
That is of course unless it cost 197k/acre, in capital cost, to care for, harvest, and market.
That is one of the silliest claims I have ever seen. Do you also perhaps hold the secret to cold fusion as well?

Care to counter any actual points presented or just invent stuff nobody said and then argue that?

But, there is a lady by the name of Nadine on there. Maybe Ogopogo could ask her to join in here.
