Post Partum Depression
Are there any free resources in Kelowna for post partum depression, for example, support groups or counselling?

Check with your doctor AND the health unit (there will be a nurse that can find you support)

If you are waiting a while to get in to see your Dr about this, get out and walk at least 20 minutes twice daily. Physical activity can really help with depression, although counterintuitive.

Start with getting out to the Health Unit's "Baby Talk" (if they still have it - been a few years). It helps to talk with other moms, especially if you are a first-timer. I believe they do have support in place, I'm sure the health nurse would know of what was in place.
And yes, the exercise is critical for getting the endorphins up. It will help a lot.

I haven't failed until I quit.
