Voting in RDCO west
I guess I am one of the few who realize they can vote for a West Side school trustee if they live outside West Kelowna or on Westbank First Nations Land like me. People keep telling me I am wrong, but I know I can. We don't help our children if we don't bother to vote for a trustee.

You are absolutely right. One trustee will be elected by West Kelowna voters. The other trustee will be elected by voters on the Westside (all areas in the regional district on the west side of the lake), excepting West Kelowna. That means Peachland, WFN and the unincorporated areas of the regional district on the Westside (Brent Road, Trepanier Valley, areas up Westside Road.)
You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.
