It all makes sense now. Shanahan just spins the wheel and what ever number it lands on is the length of the suspension.

Fully expected Cammalleri to be traded out of Montreal, his comments to Montreal press just added fuel to it.

So 2011/2012 season is near 60% done standings have couple of surprises. As season began 2 teams were thought to be front runners due to some trades and addition to their teams.

In the East it was Buffalo currently at the bottom of eastern conference, but not completely out only 10 points down of 8 place.

In west it was LA Kings now they are currently in playoff.

Other surprise is Florida (only 1 point up on Washington) but still, Tampa Bay going from eastern finals to 13th.

As for west Stars & Wild started the season flying (maybe need new engines) Ssshh St. Louis quietly moving up the standing.

Meanwhile Columbus & Edmonton are fighting for last place. So much bad luck for Edmonton in the injury column this year.

Maybe its time to move Columbus north of the border thinking Quebec City.

How much longer is Brian Burke's friendship with Coach Wilson last before Burke has to say "your fired".

I was expected this the moment Randy Carlyle was canned by the Ducks, I'm more surprised how long it took.
