Dating a man of a different faith
I have recently began a relationship with a man who is Baptist Christian, I am very spiritual but am not Christian - I do not wish to become Christian either. What to do.

I would find out if it's a problem for him if you don't want to convert to his faith.
If it is them bye bye.
If it is them bye bye.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

Research ask many questions learn the difference between moderate and fundamental Christianity.if hes a queer hatin baptist and you find this out after too long it could be trouble, Praise jeeeeeesuuuus.I recommend "A year of living biblically" by A.J.Jacobs.It gives you a humerus overview of many sects.

lol Kibbs. That's cute.
He is vague in his response. I believe that he wants to be with me, but puts off the discussion for a later time.
I told him before we decided to become much closer that I do not wish to give him false hopes; I will not convert in the future, but that I can accept him for who he is and his own religious persuasion/choice.
We told each other that we love each other for the first time the other night.

I'd run like lightning in the opposite direction. If he has strong but wishy-washy to you views about his religion now, they will only become more entrenched and he will become determined to make you comply with his religion's views - and especially if you have children. Its not a good sign that he doesn't want to talk about his religion now. Run. Run fast.

Yikes Grammyfreddy, that is a little scary.
My kids are 20 and 17, should not affect them too much either way. They are very strong minded in that regard.
Hmmmm. Not sure what to do. Love him, love him, love him. It would be alright if we have our different beliefs. I don't even mind going to church once in a while, for him. Do not believe in the Christian faith though.

What is his faith (church) and what is yours?

He is Baptist Christian.
Mine is undefined - I believe in reincarnation, that there is no separate God being, God is the spiritual essence that lives in everyone and is life itself.
I suppose that I am more pagen-ish.

Re: Dating a man of a different faith
I know some couples that have opposite views on religion and they get along just fine. Of course it really depends on how strong one feels about it - hard to live with a preacher, I suppose. But most religious people I know keep it to themselves and don't bother with preaching.
Sarcasm is like a good game of chess. Most people don't know how to play chess.

Thank you Captain Awesome.
That is my best case scenario, that we remain spiritually autonomous within our relationship. I hope he goes for that in the long term - if there is a long term for us.

My favorite scene.
Good luck to you, I don't have the "redflags" others seem to. If youre at the I love you part of your relationship I'd think it's a rather trivial detail.
