Post by GordonH »

To every on the Voters list or not (follow instruction here if your not on voters list http://www.elections.bc.ca/index.php/vo ... tration/#B) in BC chose a candidate or a Party and on May 14th, please go out and vote.

This thread is not about backing any one Party or local candidate, its just to encourage everyone to Vote.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

I voted but I did not receive my voter card. My name and address were on the list at the same polling location I have used for the last eight years. Anyone else not get their card?

I not got my card either, and even though I registered on the BC website to make sure I was on the list, they fired me back an email the same day saying they would look into that and that I will receive a confirmation "soon". i have not gotten no confirmation so I had to call them last week to make sure I was on the list. I also asked them if I would receive a card they said yes, I asked when, they said "today"... today came a week ago, and a week later, I mean "today"... I still have nut received it.

I haven't voted since I started carting all the lying scumbag MLA's from ministry to ministry to the Heli Jet terminal in the back of my BlueBird cab...They ALL made me puke (with the exception of Mike Harcourt, he had the moxie to just walk..).

So , no , I didn't get a voter card. I had the Boss "vouch" for me.

Thanks to all who went out and voted. There are places in this world where people do not have this opportunity. We are fortunate indeed to have the liberty of choosing our government.

You got a sticker? I didn't get a sticker! I want a sticker!

We need better candidates so that people want to get out and vote.

the whole point of freedom is to have the CHOICE to vote. If someone doesn't want to vote, be glad that your own vote counts for that much more in another voter's absence, and stop telling other people how they are obligated to use their freedom.

And besides, if voting actually mattered it would probably be illegal
