I agree with what Steven said earlier about taking the high road and that applies to the winners and the losers.

The voter turnout was actually higher this time around (around 52%).

The main thing I take away from this election is that none of the parties, and particularly the Liberals and the NDP, managed to capture the minds and hearts of the majority of the electorate as voter turnout continues to decline (estimated so far at 48%, versus 58% in the 2005 election - the lowest turnout ever If I recall correctly). ....it's testimony to just how low "government" in BC has sunk on so many fronts. One thing seems certain.... Christy Clark now has her work cut out for her, and we will get to see to what degree substance and performance in actual governance can replace several years of endless campaigning.

Never, ever do they offer a solution.
Never, ever do they contribute.
They have an ineffective leader and are riddled with extremists lusting to fulfill their socialist dreams.
The NDP are excellent opposition. Dix is the perfect leader.
