I'll let you decide that one for yourself. Personally, I'm not too worried about the US setting off a nuke anywhere on North American or European soil. In fact, Western nuclear armed nations are my least concern of using a nuclear weapon anywhere - even pre-emptively. I think it is easily evident that rogue groups and nations present a far greater risk.
