How bout the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, a major event in the shaping of Western Civilization that was also prophesied in the Bible.

Hello, that's the point. Jesus said, "Not one stone will be left upon another that won't be thrown down." Speaking of the Temple destruction and Jerusalem encompassed by armies. This happened in 70AD under General Titus Vespasian, less than 40 years after Jesus predicted it. Flavius Josephus, a contemporary of Titus, claims that more than 1 million Jews perished during the siege of Jerusalem. I'd say that's pretty significant.

Here's another miraculous event that tends to prove God's existence. When the Jews attempted to rebuild the Temple which Jesus predicted would be destroyed in 70 AD, large fireballs started shooting up from the earth and devoured the foundation layers. This happened in the 3rd century AD under the watch of and partnership with Julian the Apostate. The event was confirmed by Christian and non-Christian sources. The early church fervently scoured Hebrew scriptures afterwords and found what they wanted to believe. How couldn't they through that much text? But it obviously wasn't enough to convince the Jews themselves, whose scripture it actually was.
